FAQ & Troubleshooting

Common issues and answers to frequently asked questions.

Widget issues

The widget isn't showing on my page

Check these common causes:

  1. Script URL — Verify the src attribute points to https://b2b.tickadoo.com/widget/map-widget.iife.js
  2. Map ID — Make sure data-connect-map (or the map-id attribute) contains your correct map ID from the Distribution page
  3. Container size — The widget needs a container with a defined height. If the parent element has zero height, the map won’t be visible
  4. JavaScript errors — Open your browser’s developer console (F12) and check for errors
  5. Ad blockers — Some ad blockers may interfere with third-party scripts. Test with extensions disabled
The map loads but shows the wrong area

Your map center is set in the Map editor. Go to Map > Settings and update the location to your correct address or coordinates. Changes apply immediately.

The map shows a blank/gray area

This usually means map tiles failed to load. Possible causes:

  • Network issue — Check that pmtiles.tickadoo.com is accessible from your network
  • CSP blocking — If your site uses Content Security Policy headers, add pmtiles.tickadoo.com to connect-src. See the Advanced Usage guide
  • Firewall — Corporate firewalls may block the tile server. Contact your IT team to allow *.tickadoo.com
The embed code isn't working in my CMS

Some CMS platforms strip script tags from content. Try these fixes:

  • WordPress — Use a Custom HTML block, not a paragraph or shortcode block
  • Squarespace — Use a Code block, not a Markdown block
  • Wix — Use the Embed HTML element
  • Other CMS — Look for a “raw HTML” or “embed” content type that allows script tags

Account & billing

How do I connect Stripe?

Go to Settings in the admin panel. Under Payout settings, click Complete Stripe setup. You’ll be guided through Stripe’s onboarding process. Once complete, you’ll start receiving payouts for bookings.

My payouts aren't coming through

Check these items:

  1. Stripe connected — Go to Settings and verify Stripe shows as connected
  2. Stripe status — Log into your Stripe Dashboard and check for any pending requirements or account restrictions
  3. Minimum threshold — Very small amounts may be held until they reach Stripe’s minimum payout threshold
  4. Processing time — Payouts typically take 2-7 business days depending on your bank and country
Can I change my partner type after signing up?

Contact support@tickadoo.com to request a partner type change. This may affect your account configuration.

General

Is there a cost to use tickadoo B2B?

No. tickadoo B2B is free to set up and use. There are no subscription fees, setup costs, or hidden charges. You earn a 50% profit share on each completed booking; tickadoo earns the other 50%.

Can I use the widget on multiple websites?

Yes. Your embed code works on any website. The same map ID can be used across multiple sites.

What happens if I deactivate my account?

Deactivation is permanent. Your hosted booking page will stop working, the embedded widget will no longer load, and you’ll stop earning from future bookings. Pending payouts will still be processed. This action is available in Settings under the danger zone.

Warning

Account deactivation is irreversible. Make sure to export any data you need from the Revenue page before deactivating.
