Events
Manage which experiences appear on your booking map.
The Events page lets you control which experiences are displayed on your booking map. Access it from Events in the admin sidebar.
Experience visibility
Each experience near your location can be set to one of three states:
| Status | Effect |
|---|---|
| Visible | Shown on the map as a normal marker |
| Featured | Highlighted prominently — appears more visible to guests (max 3) |
| Hidden | Not displayed on the map |
Managing experiences
The events manager shows all experiences available in your area. For each one you can:
- Toggle visibility on/off
- Mark as featured to promote it
- See details like name, rating, and price
Note
Experiences are sourced from tickadoo’s marketplace. You don’t need to create them — they’re automatically available based on your map’s location and radius.
How are experiences selected for my area?
Experiences are shown based on proximity to your map’s center point. The radius is set in Map editor Settings (2–50 km). Adjusting your map center or radius in the Map editor changes which experiences are available.
Can I add my own experiences?
Currently, all experiences come from the tickadoo marketplace. If you offer experiences that should be listed, contact support@tickadoo.com to discuss adding them.
Tips
- Feature your best-sellers — Featured experiences get more visibility, which can increase bookings and your revenue
- Hide irrelevant ones — If some experiences don’t fit your audience, hide them to keep the map focused
- Review periodically — New experiences may become available as tickadoo’s marketplace grows
